Plagiarism Policy
In addition to having a strict anti-plagiarism policy, the Afghanistan Journal of Infectious Diseases (AJID) is dedicated to upholding the integrity of the scientific record and feels obligated to assist and support the scientific community in all facets of research and publishing ethics.
To check published and submitted content for originality, AJID uses Advanced Plagiarism Detection Software (iThenticate).
The following must be attested by the author(s) of manuscripts submitted to the Afghanistan Journal of Infectious Diseases:
- Prior to submission, the article should be carefully reviewed and approved by each author.
- The manuscript does not contain any instances of plagiarism.
- Anywhere that content is taken from another source, proper citation is given. If plagiarism is discovered, severe actions will be implemented.
